Mixing Room Hints

This is the hardest puzzle in the game for most — so you're not alone if you can't figure it out! You are trying to mix Luminar and MegaGrow together with water in the correct proportions. This will make the pods glow providing light in the mine shaft you will go through later.

If you are facing the mixer, the code is located on the shelf behind you. The number of pots on either side of the center post correspond to the numbers you need to enter.

The pots are arranged on the top shelf like this: 2, 3 & 4, 3.

The pots are arranged on the middle shelf like this: 4 & 5. This is how many marks that you need to count down as you fill the holding tank.

Look at the center post to see how far to drain the two mixes into the holding tank.

Ignore the bottom shelf.

You should try again before reading further. Spoiler below!

You must enter them in the correct order! LuM = 2, Water = 3. Then: Water = 4, MeG = 3. (See First Mix and Second Mix below)

The final mix numbers 4 & 5, refers to how much fluid in each tank must be drained into the final holding tank. Remember to count down from the top because you are mixing two amounts together.

TIP: It's better to be a little above the lines than below them.
(See Third Mix) You can turn the flow on or off by clicking the valve as many times as you want.

When you get it right the pod stays on. Don't forget to turn on the last valve to irrigate the roots. (See Final Step)
